Renaissance Superman by Durnesque Renaissance Superman by Durnesque
OH MY GOODNESS. This one was rough. But yes... another cloak!!!

This one is for a friend on cast who plays Sir Clark of Kent (aka, Renaissance Superman). He needed a cloak for rainy season in Georgia to protect his leather doublet.

It was a beast to make... but I'm in love with this fabric. It's called Liquid Gold, but in the shade of blood/flame red. GLORIOUS. Wish the color photographed better...

No pattern used, custom design. See the sketch here.

Here's the cloak "in action!"

this style could work with my half-elf, Lu'thea, instead of having it draped around and behind her shoulders: [link]

Neat! Though if you ever use this as a reference, please credit me because it is an original design. :)

I'm sure something similar, but I did not reference anything and I have not taken any formal sewing or construction classes to know if such a piece has a name. I made it that way to cover the front part of his doublet, which is leather, when it rains.
