In March I took a 5 week trip through Europe and as stated in my journal am going to upload one deviation for each place I went.
This is stop #3 Lake Bled, Slovenia. If you Google search Lake Bled you'll find glossy, bright alpine pictures featuring the church on the island in the middle of the lake. While technically that is the place we saw, that's not how I saw it. We were in Bled on a sunny Sunday and there were ducks, swans, and children playing in the waters. I think this picture captures that better than any of those color saturated computer wallpapers you'll find on Google.
