A Touch of Twenties

Went to a 1920's themed shindig the other night. Tried some fingerwaves and a false short hairstyle for the event. For reference, my hair is almost mermaid length (halfway covering my chest). It's a bit fluffy for 20s, really more 30s, but they're pretty close.

Didn't take pictures or film the process, but here's a how-to anyway.

How To:

- Pincurl a front section of bangs the day before
- Curl all remaining hair in ringlets.
- Separate out front-side sections of hair.
- Braid a small section of hair behind the separated out front sections on either side.
- Connect these two braids in the back with an elastic band.
- Tuck at random the back sections of hair and pin into the braids to create the false short hairstyle.
- Fingerwave the remaining front sections and then pin the ends into the back/braids.
- Release top-front pincurls and style as desired. Pin ends into the braids.
