Dear Friends, Watchers, and Visitors,

I am, as ever, so grateful to all those of you who stop by to view, comment, and fav. You all are awesome. I'm about to roll over another 1,000 page views, which is wonderful! I've said it before, but truly, until I had DA, I had no reason to strive to make better art.  DA though, I find I really am working to improve in the many little bits of art that I do, and I hope it shows!

As to my life, April is going to be ABSOLUTELY MAD! And it's already started. I'll try to do a quick run down.

Art Theft

I have been really and truly art thefted. I found that the logo I created for my University's theater program was being used by a Turkish (!!!) theater company! Crazy... the situation seems to be resolving though. They responded to my messages this morning and I offered to make them their own logo (for free) because they are a small educational theater group. I just can't have them using a logo my University commissioned and paid for.

It was rather disheartening that they would steal the logo. And you may notice that all the logos in my logo folder now have watermarks. I've never wanted to use them, but guess I'll have to. I'm trying to work on a better one and find other ways to work my mark into my art without it being distracting, but also not removable. I am glad though that the situation seems to be resolved, and quickly.

Honors Thesis

I turned it in to my readers with the main word misspelled on the TITLE PAGE!!! Lol. It's alright though, I have time to revise before publication. But I have to do an oral defense of my paper in two weeks and a presentation of the paper the day after... and find time to revise it somewhere in between while writing another HUGE paper for my senior capstone class, two smaller essays, and misc. other school work. If I'm not on DA, you know why!

THEATER!!!

I styled my very first wig!!!


And I get to do another on Monday for my university's production of "A Little Night Music." I'll also be working as a dresser for the show because it's not like I have much hw or any other concerns to keep me busy (*sarcasm*). Ah well, I work well under pressure.

I'm also feeling the strain trying to get gears moving for the show I'm directing this summer. I DESPERATELY need a music director and am trying to line up publicity things and other crew members. It's insane. I'm going to be helping sort through the costume closet tomorrow and photograph what we have so I know what I need.

Future Projects

That's I think about it... I have MANY little projects here and there... "A Princess Tea Party" will be returning this summer, and since the show I'm directing is "Cinderella" you can expect to see lots of Princess things soon! Hopefully more hair tutorials! I intend to do Anastasia next, but I don't know when I'll have the time! Hopefully soon.
